In every aspect of life, the season of training and preparation is often a challenging one. During this season, we all need someone to lean on, someone who sees greatness in us and offers mentorship. There is a mentorship gap in the Black community, and to achieve our goals and build effective systems, we must be able to mentor and be mentored. The Black community needs to empower, and support each other and create a thriving community where each person fulfills their purpose.

Dr. Jacqueline King spent twenty-six years in various management positions for the largest Electric and Gas Company in New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Christian Counseling, an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities, and a Doctorate in the Philosophy of Christian Counseling from Cornerstone Christian Bible College International. She has had a life of service having served on many boards including; The College of New Jersey Non-Traditional Jobs for Women, the Middlesex County Gender and Equity Board, The Mayor of Newark New Jersey’s Diversity Council, and the National Alliance for Mental Illness NAMI.
