Overcoming Addiction, Abuse and PTSD | Dr. Joan speaks with Kimberly Clark Part 3

Sexual trauma has a profound impact on individuals, often leading to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and even addiction. Overcoming addiction and PTSD  is a challenging but possible journey.  By addressing the underlying trauma through therapy, developing healthy coping mechanisms, and engaging in recovery programs, individuals can break free from the grip of addiction and regain control of their lives.  It takes courage, resilience, and a willingness to confront past pain, but with dedication and the right resources, it is possible to find healing, reclaim one's well-being, and create a brighter future.
