Dr. Joan speaks with Elayna Fernandez about the one thing she thought she could never share

Sometimes we go through life and encounter difficult situations; some we brush off, while others leave us traumatized for a long time, leaving us questioning our lives and wanting to die. How do you deal with your own pain or the pain of others? Sometimes being present and holding someone through their pain is all that is required. Reminding yourself that you have the ability to heal and tell your story.
