Building a community and coming together can help people of African Ancestry achieve inclusion and equity in all industries. Embracing Mentorship connects mentees to opportunities, resources, and people who can help them develop their existing skills and gain positive visibility. This, in turn, helps the Black community grow, resulting in increased access to important relationships, experiences, and opportunities that can help these individuals propel forward and thrive.
In this episode of Hey, I’m Listening, Dr. Joan speaks with Ken Gordons about Mentorship in the Black Community
Ken Gordon is a business executive, pastor, husband, father, award-winning author, and community servant. He is a highly sought-after speaker on leadership, public service, civil rights, and parenting. He and his wife live in an empty nest in Charlotte, NC, and have four “adulting” children, two precious grandchildren, and a cockapoo.
