Dr. Joan speaks with Angella Brown about her struggle with perfection, fear of failure and her immigration experience.

The desire to be perfect can stem from an underlying fear of failure along with a desire to be validated by others. Regrettably, seeking external validation not only prevents us from being ourselves but also keeps us bound with constant doubt and a sense of unworthiness.

In this episode of Hey, I’m listening, Dr. Joan speaks with Angella Brown about her struggle with perfection, fear of failure, and her immigration experience.

Angella Brown is an Operations Manager at one of the top 5 major banks located in North York Ontario. She’s married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Angella and her husband, Rev.
